My Walter Beau has recovered so well from his operation (De-sexed). His personality is much more placid yet still full of puppy energy. We are about to head to the off the lead park near our place, hopefully miss the poring rain that won't stop! ....yeah possibly won't be the case, need some gum boots, water proof jacket and a pretty colourful umbrella - all of which I don't own!)
This song plays as I look at these pictures of Hayden (my lil' 5yr old cousin) doing hand stands.
He is such a cool cheeky kid!
- another moment in Townsville! :)
My bud Amy has a new addition to the family, Meeko Aslann (he is the black & cream puppy).
We were lucky enough to have a day off together so made a date with the babies. Macy is the white love resting on the boys! (so sweet) I think she & Walter are in looooovee.... (giggle, giggle)
I took many many more shots of them all playing around but this one topped them all. Such love!
I don't know about you but I have a thing for superheroes. Since a young age superman was my hero...the movies, then the adventures of Lois and Clark and the most recent take on him Smallville - I got hooked (can't wait for season 10 - he should get his cape - Clark...I mean Superman or in this case the blur!)
Anyhoo, one fine day strolling down Brunswick I went to my favourite book store Brunswick Bound and found super heroes - fashion and fantasy (below)...I love it! The cover is made of Tin and the font is embossed, each page is glossy and vibrant in colour. Definitely on my list of books to purchase. I'm a collector of books! It used to be teddy bears, then barbies, bear statues, cards, stamps... Oh boy it hasn't stopped! Coming up is shoes!
My brother went to Africa to help at the orphanages recently and I seen a picture of him blowing bubbles for the kids. It's amazing something so simple can excite them so much! Blow some bubbles with the kids! (I still love seeing them float and pop!)
summer hurry up and come my way so I can sit by the sea and enjoy this scenery again, feel the warmth on my shoulders, hear each roaring wave roll in closer and wait for the stars to twinkle in the deep sky.
As I performed my daily duties at work the other day I was sending a book back to another library, Amy Butler's Midwest Modern. I was in awe of all the pretty fabrics and even the print inside the book cover. I spent a few moments looking at all the interior displays and little sewn treasures. I wish I had a new space to decorate!
